Have more confidence in yourself and your system.
Many people WANT what YOU have to offer you just have
to find them. Things come up in people's lives that delay their
responses to your offering. Don't be too hasty in jumping to
a conclusion that they're rejecting your offering before you
confirm what you may think is a clear signal. E-mail or phone
them and say:
"Say (Betty)____, I'm concerned that
I tried to contact you when you said you'd be available and
(the phone was busy for a long time, there was no answer, whatever
. . . ). And it seems to me that you may have either decided
that you don't have enough information yet to help you make
the right decision for you, or there's some question you have
about whether this offering and business venture is right for
you, that you could really DO it, OR that there would be enough
support. Which is it?"
ThenSHUT UP AND LISTEN. NOW, they'll either disqualify
themselves clearly, OR you'll know they still have questions,
need reassurances, explanations whatever. MAYBE the TIMING
isn't right for them right nowfor whatever reasons (ALL
distractions are EQUALsometimes they just can't partner
with us right nowBUT, they may well be able to join up
with you in a month or two when something settles down or gets
resolved in their life!)
